About Anam Cara Akira

spirit - earth - energy - embodiment

“Anam Cara” is a Celtic phrase meaning “soul friend.”

To walk with someone as their Anam Cara is to hold space for their remembering—to reflect their light, their depth, and their truth back to them when they’ve forgotten.

My name is Akira, and I’ve spent the last decade walking the sacred spiral of spirit, self, and remembrance.

Rooted in ancestral wisdom, trained in Reiki and energy work, and guided by intuition, lived experience, and a deep relationship with the natural world, my work has continued to evolve alongside me.

What began as a primarily spiritual practice has grown into a more holistic approach to wellness—one that honors the connection between mind, body, spirit, creativity, community, and the earth.

My work weaves together energy work, intuitive guidance, meditation, ritual, embodiment, creative and recreational wellness, and earth-based practices, while continuing to deepen my studies in herbalism, plant medicine, holistic nourishment, and natural wellness.

This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about returning to you.

Through one-on-one sessions, circles, workshops, rituals, community experiences, and self-guided resources, I create spaces for you to reconnect with yourself in ways that feel intentional, grounded, creative, and alive.

Because wellness isn’t only something we practice when something is wrong.

It can be found in the way we nourish ourselves.
The plants we learn from.
The ways we move and create.
The time we spend in nature.
The rituals we return to.
The community we cultivate.
And the relationship we build with ourselves.

My Work Is For You If:

You’re craving deeper connection with yourself beyond surface-level wellness.

You’re moving through a spiritual or personal transition and want intentional support.

You want to reconnect with your body, intuition, creativity, and the natural world.

You’re curious about incorporating ritual, herbs, nourishment, movement, mindfulness, and earth-based practices into everyday life.

You want wellness to feel less clinical or performative and more embodied, accessible, intentional, and alive.

You’re ready to create a way of caring for yourself that actually feels like you.

Why I Do This Work

Two orchid flowers with green leaves on a black background.

Because I believe in the sacred.

In the wisdom of the body.
In the medicine of the earth.
In creativity, community, rest, movement, ritual, and play.
In our ability to remember ourselves beneath everything we’ve been taught to become.

I know what it means to be the mirror, the space-holder, the sensitive one—and what it takes to find your way back to yourself.

My work exists at the meeting place of the spiritual and the human. The mystical and the practical. The energetic and the embodied.

This work is remembrance.
This work is reclamation.
This work is relationship—with yourself, your spirit, your body, your community, and the earth.

And if you’ve found yourself here, maybe you’re ready to come home to more of yourself, too.
